      M & J Trimming
    New York, N Y

The largest trimming supplier in the country, M & J Trimming offers over one million products to retailers and wholesalers. On how to display such a vast quantity and assortment of products was a challenge CONANT ARCHITECTS was ready to meet.

With sky high rents and countless products, maximum efficiency in the presentation and storage of the merchandise became a driving factor in the design of the project.  With their product available in the full spectrum of colors, the design also had to address a consistency within the palette of materials which could enhance the buying experience.

A typical customer is completely unaware of the complexity of the interchangeable display systems that easily allow for a rod to display ribbons to be changed into various shelves to display buttons or trims. A sea of colors and textures created by the products compliment the M & J brand peering through a light box above and on the flooring pattern below.  The distinctive branding elements successfully compliment rather than compete with the products on display.
