
Lance Amato is an Associate and LEED Accredited Professional at Conant Architects. Some of his responsibilities include design, project coordination, and construction management, as well as a role as the companies’ sustainable practice manager.
Shortly after graduating the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Architecture in 2004, Lance set out to expand his experience in the diverse areas of interior design, working for healthcare firm Stonehill & Taylor and a sustainable design leader FXFowle. He joined Conant Architects in 2007 as a project architect and was promoted shortly afterward to Associate in 2009. Since then, Lance has worked for major corporate clients such as Citigroup and Colgate-Palmolive, as well as smaller industry retailers like Creation Baumann and Momentum Group.
A dedicated participant within the NYC interior design industry, Lance is a member of the International Interior Design Association of New York. His past efforts include volunteering for events such as Publicolor and the IIDA NY Leader’s Breakfast, as well as serving as chairman for IIDA NY ColorInvasion Gala and Student Mentoring Programs. He is currently serving as the chapter’s President-Elect, overseeing the IIDA NY's strategic direction. Lance is a Registered Architect in the state of New York.
